Description

Elegant vintage 1940s mahogany twin bed frame featuring a beautifully shaped headboard and elaborately carved footboard.

This handsome bed has the graceful, romantic character associated with Rococo Revival and Louis XV–inspired furniture, with a rich mahogany finish, curved cabriole-style legs, serpentine lines, and carved floral and scroll ornamentation.

The headboard has a softly arched, shaped silhouette with decorative carved detailing at the crest, while the footboard features an ornate carved apron, central decorative motif, and elegant scrolling legs.
