The sculptural urn-form body is enveloped in deeply modeled, pierced acanthus foliage, creating dramatic open spaces and layers of shadow throughout the design.

A variegated finish combines deep espresso brown and aged bronze tones with softly rubbed taupe and silvery highlights across the raised leaves. The effect emphasizes the dimensional carving while retaining the warmth and character of an Old World decorative object. Turned architectural collars, a beaded lower border and a broad stepped square plinth complete the stately composition.

This Old World Traditional presentation includes the lamp’s original large ivory bell shade. Its strongly flared silhouette is divided by narrow vertical ribs and finished with coordinating trim along the upper and lower edges. Measuring 19 inches across the bottom, the shade provides the visual weight needed to balance the lamp’s unusually tall and substantial form.
