Original extendable table, designed by Hartmut Lohmeyer for Wilkhahn in Germany. This exceptionally elegant design is one of the most important examples of German minimalist furniture from the 1960s and 1970s. with its clear lines, precise proportions, and uncompromising focus on material and construction, the table embodies Hartmut Lohmeyer's design philosophy and Wilkhahn's high level of craftsmanship. Its understated appearance derives entirely from the fine details and the exceptional beauty of the teak wood.

The frame and slender legs are made of solid teak, while the tabletop is finished with high-quality teak veneer. The table extends in the center and can be lengthened to 180 cm using the original extension leaf. The extension leaf is stored compactly under the tabletop. The construction is particularly elegant, with the tabletop and legs seemingly flowing seamlessly into one another, appearing as if crafted from a single piece. The different tones of the solid wood and veneer create a captivating contrast.

Condition: Expertly restored. The surface has been completely refinished. The teak is in excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of age-related wear on the legs.
