Original three-seater sofa from the Senator series, designed by Ole Wanscher and manufactured in Denmark. This rare piece was crafted by Poul Jeppesen and is presented here in the rare and sought-after solid oak finish. The Senator series is among Wanscher's most renowned designs, combining Scandinavian elegance with exceptional craftsmanship. Characteristic features include the delicate proportions, gently curved armrests, and organic forms, making the design a classic of Danish mid-century design.

The sofa features an elegantly shaped solid oak frame and an exceptionally beautiful back, allowing it to be placed anywhere in the room. The foam cushions have been completely replaced, providing exceptional seating comfort and upholstered in a high-quality, light bouclé fabric from the premium Danish manufacturer Kvadrat/Sahco. The cushion covers and dust catcher under the seat cushions have also been replaced.

Condition: Professionally refurbished. New foam cushions with high-quality bouclé upholstery from Kvadrat/Sahco, cushion covers, and dust catcher replaced. The solid oak is in very good and stable vintage condition with only a few light scratches, minor dents, and subtle age-related discoloration.
