Original B-Series display cabinet, designed by Dieter Waeckerlin for Behr in Germany in the late 1950s. The B-Series is one of the most important German furniture ranges of the post-war modern period, combining the clear design language of Swiss modernism with the highest quality craftsmanship. with its floating proportions, glazed corners, and consistently minimalist design, this rare display cabinet is considered one of the most elegant mid-century modern display cabinets ever made.

The cabinet body is finished with high-quality teak veneer and features two sliding glass doors, behind which are three glass shelves for the stylish presentation and storage of books, ceramics, glassware, or collectibles. Characteristic of the design are the fully glazed front edges, which visually soften the solid corners and lend the piece an exceptional lightness. The cabinet rests on a delicate, black lacquered steel frame and appears to float.

Condition: Expertly refinished surface. Excellent vintage condition with only the smallest scratches and a few minor blemishes on the steel frame and wooden cabinet. The few signs of wear are commensurate with its age, unobtrusive, and do not affect the function or the exceptional elegance of this rare design classic.
