At the center of the tabletop is a floral marquetry inlay made of various precious woods: a bouquet featuring two large flowers set against a light-colored lemonwood background, surrounded by smaller flowers, buds, and a delicate leafy tendril. The leaves and petals are engraved and inlaid with dark wood. The circular panel of cross-grained veneer is bordered by a narrow band of inlaid frieze.

The frame is decorated with a continuous band of inlaid strips of bog oak and lemonwood, which rhythmically accentuates the curve. The drawer is flush-mounted and follows the continuous pattern, so that it is barely noticeable when viewed from the front. The drawer itself is crafted from solid oak and joined with dovetail joints.

Three slender, curved legs support the body. They end in brass feet and are connected at mid-height by a round intermediate shelf. This shelf features a radial veneer pattern: narrow segments radiate outward from a central point, creating a sunburst grain that is framed by a narrow border frieze.

Ebony, various precious woods, lemonwood, and French mahogany were used for the inlays and veneers.
