The australian-born, rotterdam-based duo were the first australian designers invited to contribute to ikea’s collectible ps series, and this rug was their only textile for the collection.

the pattern renders soft, sweeping movement in indigo, pale grey and ivory — the designers described it as capturing the calm motion of long grass under a light wind. Depth comes from the varied pile heights rather than from surface print, so the drawing shifts subtly with the light and the viewing angle.

woven from 100% wool with a dense 8 mm pile, the rug is naturally soil-repellent, dampens sound underfoot and holds its structure well. Both original labels remain attached: the designers’ signature label and the ikea product label.

this example is new old stock — never used, never laid. Some creasing from rolled storage is visible and will settle within a few days of unrolling. No wear, no stains, no repairs.
