Elegant pair of sculptural table lamps designed by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors, Sweden, dating from the 1960s.
Each lamp features a substantial clear crystal glass body with a richly textured, organic relief pattern. The irregular surface beautifully refracts and reflects the light, giving the lamps a striking jewel-like appearance. Their gently tapered silhouette is finished with polished metal fittings, creating a refined contrast with the heavy crystal bases.
Typical of Fagerlund’s work for Orrefors, the design combines Scandinavian modernism with luxurious materials and an expressive use of glass. The lamps are marked Orrefors and retain their original manufacturer labels.
A highly decorative and sophisticated matching pair, ideal for bedside tables, consoles or as statement lighting in a mid-century interior. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
