100 year old or greater, very tight herringbone weave, extensive hand-wrapped joints, substantial bentwood/rattan frame, and especially those large spiral/scroll arms. It also appears remarkably intact. Higher-quality wicker/rattan furniture produced around the turn of the 20th century.
Manufactured by Heywood Brothers & Wakefield/Heywood-Wakefield produced elaborate wicker furniture. A documented circa-1900 Heywood-Wakefield wicker rocker was appraised by Antiques Roadshow at $800–$1,200 at auction, with the surviving manufacturer’s label being particularly important to its value.
