Vintage Mid-Century Modern Tulip Glass Wall Sconces, Pair
A distinctive matching pair of vintage Mid-Century Modern wall sconces featuring sculptural white glass tulip-style shades and warm brass-tone metal fittings.
Individual curved glass petals overlap to create the rounded appearance of a flower bud or tulip, giving these sconces a wonderful sculptural quality whether illuminated or turned off.
Each sconce is designed for hardwired installation and features a round brass-tone wall plate with an integrated on/off switch, allowing the individual fixture to be controlled directly from the wall plate when properly wired.
The sconces measure approximately 11 inches high, with glass shades approximately 7 inches in diameter. Each fixture projects approximately 9 inches from the wall, while the round mounting plates measure approximately 5 inches in diameter.
The white glass petals are in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The brass-tone metal retains attractive age-related patina and surface variation consistent with its vintage character.
These sconces coordinate beautifully with matching tulip pendant lighting and would make an especially striking addition to a Mid-Century Modern bedroom, hallway, entryway, dining area or living space.
