Goss at Falcon Pottery Works in Stoke-on-Trent, England, between 1880 and 1920. Each cup and saucer displays a coat of arms. This set features the following: Royal Arms of Wales, Sir Walter Scott, City of Edinburgh, See of York, Hoylake & West Kirby, and Windsor (Berkshire). Unfortunately, the seventh cup and saucer are a mismatch; the cup features the arms of the City of York, while the saucer features the See of Chester. Don't know how that happened, but these items have been in a box for 50 years and no one has looked at them until recently. Also, there is a small chip in the See of York cup (see photo), which is more of a small bowl than a cup because it lacks a handle. Weird. Otherwise, they are in pretty good shape. All cups and saucers are stamped with the Goss sigil. See less
