Original oil painting on paper featuring an energetic arrangement of interlocking gestural forms in rust, sienna, ochre, brown and black against areas of exposed white ground. The rhythmic movement, layered brushwork and atmospheric abstraction reflect Khavarani's distinctive Abstract Romanticism, the artistic approach for which he is best known. Signed “Kamran Khavarani” across the lower portion of the composition. Artwork approximately 15 x 11 inches; framed dimensions approximately 23 x 19 inches. Presented under glass with a wide white mat in a dark reddish-brown wood frame.
