Signed by Etta Benjamin Cien at lower right. The reverse retains the original “HILLSIDE ORIGINAL #561P” marking.

Cien was an American mid-century artist who, with her husband LeRoy Benjamin, founded Hillside House of Originals in California in 1966. Hillside subsequently operated showrooms in major metropolitan markets across the United States.
