### ITEM TITLE
1960s Emanuele Scarnicci "Lovers' Embrace" Italian Brutalist Bronze Sculpture
### STORY & DESCRIPTION
An exquisite mid-century modernist bronze sculpture by the noted Italian sculptor Emanuele Scarnicci (b. 1916), cast at his foundry in Firenze (Florence), Italy. Titled "Lovers' Embrace," this striking vintage piece features two elongated, abstract figures locked in a romantic embrace.
The casting beautifully bridges elegant, fluid modernist forms with raw, tactile Brutalist texturing. The deep bronze patina is richly highlighted throughout by hand-applied gold gilt accents. The figures stand securely mounted to their original, substantial square stone composite base. A premier gallery-worthy accent piece perfect for Mid-Century Modern, Hollywood Regency, or Brutalist interiors.

### CONDITION NOTES
The sculpture is in very good vintage condition with an excellent aged patina and intact gold gilt accents. The main bronze figures and stone base are completely stable and physically whole. As is common with mid-century threaded rod mountings, the figures can be easily pivoted or turned on the base due to a loose internal mounting nut, though they remain entirely secure. The original stone base shows expected light vintage character, including minor small cosmetic chips to the lower front corners.
