A sophisticated one-of-a-kind desk combining a vintage marble base with a custom smoke-grey glass top.
Created by our studio, this piece began with the discovery of a substantial vintage marble base, selected for its beautiful natural variation, aged character and architectural form. We paired the marble with a custom-fabricated smoke-grey glass top to create a contemporary desk that balances the weight and permanence of stone with the transparency of glass.
The smoke-grey glass gives the desk a subtle, sophisticated presence while allowing the character of the marble beneath to remain visible. Its clean proportions make it versatile enough for a modern home office, creative studio, living room or sophisticated workspace.
At 60 inches wide, there is plenty of room for a computer, books, artwork and everyday work essentials without the desk feeling visually heavy.
This is a one-of-a-kind original studio piece. The marble is vintage and was individually sourced; the glass top was custom fabricated specifically for this desk.
