Antique Reverse Painted Glass 8 Panel Table Lamp Landscape 21” Shade 24.5”
Description
Impressive antique reverse-painted glass table lamp featuring a large eight-panel scenic landscape shade with colorful trees, water, distant architecture, and a dramatic blue and yellow sky.
The shade is constructed of eight curved reverse-painted glass panels held within an ornate metal framework with decorative ribs, floral and foliate details, and a scalloped lower border. The lamp rests on a substantial classical urn-form metal base decorated with raised swags, medallions, fluting, and other neoclassical ornament. Two pull-chain sockets are fitted beneath the shade.
A wonderful early 20th-century decorative lamp with excellent size and visual presence.
Measurements:
Overall approximately 24.5 inches high.
Shade approximately 21 inches in diameter.
Condition: Antique estate condition with age-appropriate wear and patina to the metal surfaces. There is a chip along the upper edge of one glass panel that has been colored in/touched up. Because of its location beneath the metal framework, it is not readily visible when viewing the assembled lamp from the front. The top finial appears to be a probable replacement. Please examine all photographs closely for construction and condition. Electrical components appear older and should be inspected by the buyer before regular use.

Condition: Antique estate condition with age-appropriate wear and patina to the metal surfaces. There is a chip along the upper edge of one glass panel that has been colored in/touched up. Because of its location beneath the metal framework, it is not readily visible when viewing the assembled lamp from the front. The top finial appears to be a probable replacement.
