A striking vintage Chinese five-drawer jewelry chest or desktop cabinet, crafted from heavy, deeply grained wood in the style of Huanghuali.
The chest features a prominent, beautifully carved and scalloped side panel with intricate scrolling floral motifs. Each of the five drawers features a recessed "Key-Fret" geometric lattice pattern on the front face, paired with traditional aged brass drop pulls.
The deep, rich reddish-brown patina and visible wood grain show excellent age and character.
This piece is highly functional for storing jewelry, keepsakes, or small desktop items, while also serving as a sophisticated display object for an Asian-inspired interior.
