A substantial and beautiful vintage Chinese carved stone seal/chop, made from warm, honey-toned Shoushan stone.
The top features a highly detailed, high-relief carving of a coiled dragon chasing a flaming pearl—a classic Chinese motif symbolizing power, prosperity, and good fortune.
The smooth, polished square base features an engraved Chinese inscription on the side (dating it to a specific year).
Given its significant weight (631.3g), it serves perfectly as a heavy paperweight, a scholarly desk ornament, or a fine collector's item. The stone shows beautiful natural translucency and rich amber color.
