Tianhuang Shoushan stone, topped with a finely modeled
foo dog (guardian lion) knob — one of the most auspicious
motifs in Chinese art, symbolizing protection, power, and
good fortune.

The square seal body is executed in the "boyi"
thin-relief technique, depicting a tranquil landscape
scene: rugged rock formations, drifting clouds, and
stylized water waves wrap around the sides of the seal.
This delicate shallow carving is a hallmark of traditional
Shoushan stone craftsmanship, allowing the stone's warm
honey-amber tone and natural veining to remain visible.

The foo dog finial is dynamically posed in a seated
position with one paw resting on a brocade ball (绣球),
its face rendered with fierce expression and detailed
mane — a classic representation of the male guardian lion.
The stone exhibits a rich golden-yellow to amber patina
with subtle darker inclusions, characteristic of prized
Tianhuang material.
