Striking vintage Chinese-style carved hardwood demilune console featuring a beautiful inset marble top.
The elegant half moon form is highlighted by an exceptionally detailed pierced and hand carved apron with traditional Asian-inspired floral, foliate and figural motifs. Graceful carved legs terminate in distinctive paw-style feet, while the warm reddish brown polished hardwood provides a beautiful contrast to the softly variegated marble.
The unusual multi-level lower shelving follows the demilune form and provides attractive display space for books, pottery, collectibles or decorative objects.
