A striking vintage Prill Silver Co. round silver-plated gallery tray, measuring approximately 12 inches in diameter. This handsome serving and display tray features a raised gallery edge with a crisp beaded border, a broad reflective center, and an engraved heraldic lion crest at its center.
The lion is depicted standing rampant and holding decorative branches, giving the tray a classic English-revival, Old World, and Regency-inspired presence. The tray is raised on three sculptural paw-form feet, each modeled with defined toes and claw-like detail. The three-footed design gives the piece an elegant elevated profile for serving, display, or tabletop use.
The underside bears the Prill Silver Co. shield mark, associated with the New York firm known for vintage silver and silverplate wares. Prill examples commonly appear as vintage silverplate trays, including crest-decorated and footed forms.
