The central panel depicts an abundant floral arrangement in muted tones of rose, burgundy, ivory, sage, gold, and dusty blue. Its softly aged palette and painterly floral composition are characteristic of the traditional French decorative-rug aesthetic associated with Savonnerie.

The floral panel is framed by plush brown velvet and detailed passementerie, with an unusual multi-toned fringe border adding texture and dimension. The combination of rug texture, velvet, and ornamental trim gives this cushion a wonderfully collected, old-world decorative character.

At 18" x 18", it is a versatile accent for an upholstered chair, settee, sofa, or layered pillow arrangement.
