The artist gave the entire surface a sculptural, almost three-dimensional quality that changes beautifully with the light. Loose architectural lines and expressive nautical forms give the composition a distinctly modernist character. The painting is artist signed in the lower right and presented in a simple black frame. Good vintage condition, some paint loss to frame.
