This distinctive lamp has the substantial, rounded silhouette characteristic of Mid-Century Modern design, with an elegant elongated brass harp, ball finial, and unusual applied side handles that give the piece an especially sculptural presence. The deep forest-green ceramic has a beautiful reflective glaze that shifts subtly in appearance with the surrounding light.

The lamp is marked “Frederick Cooper / Chicago” on the brass socket, confirming the maker. The combination of deep green ceramic, warm brass and wood makes this an exceptionally versatile piece for a Mid-Century Modern, Hollywood Regency, traditional, eclectic or collected interior.

The ceramic body is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or scratches noted. The brass and wood components at the bottom show age and wear consistent with the lamp's vintage history and are part of its overall character.

The lamp has been tested and is fully functional. It has not been rewired or restored by the seller and is being offered in as-found condition.

Dimensions: Approximately 30 inches high to the top of the finial; approximately 9 inches at the widest point; 7-inch diameter base; approximately 19 inches from the bottom of the lamp to the bottom of the socket.
