A striking extra-large blue and white porcelain lamp base with an ornate, all-over floral and scrolling vine design. The classic cobalt blue decoration stands out beautifully against the crisp white porcelain, giving the piece a timeless Chinese-inspired look.
The substantial ginger jar form has a broad rounded body and coordinating porcelain lid, already fitted with a metal lamp socket and harp holder. Its generous scale makes it especially well suited as a statement table lamp, console lamp, or oversized accent lamp in a living room, entryway, bedroom, or study.
A handsome decorative piece that works equally well with traditional, Chinoiserie, coastal, grandmillennial, and eclectic interiors.
