It is above all a state of mind in which the artist finds a subjective emotion specific to his environment and to his need to externalize what he feels. Playing with form as so many dynamic forces is not necessarily in opposition to color, since color is form. A solid color can invade and entire leaf, leaving a corner of light, the color then takes on its full meaning since it itself represents a dynamic force. Black graphic elements vibrate the structure of the form and give way to the light of pure color. Figuration and abstraction, the composition is the same: a focal point, lines, curves, circles, solid and empty. Creating space is as important as light and color. My first drawing, these are two vertical and two horizontal which border my sheet. Solids, recesses, highlights, glazes are part of the work, as well as scraping, applications of material with a painting knife, etc. I am always looking for a thousand experiences.
