The work in question is made with the technique of watercolor on paper and depicts a sweet seated female figure, with a handkerchief with floral motifs covering her head.
It is signed lower right with a monogram and a English crown, therefore it can be traced back to the English context and can be dated to around 1830. The state of conservation of the work is good, the soft wood frame is contemporary but needs restoration, while the golden passepartout decorated with natural ornamental motifs is in good condition.
