The Baumann Collection was inspired by Arhaus’ memories of summers spent on a farm in central Ohio, with the large sliding doors and exposed track hardware referencing traditional American barn doors. Arhaus described the collection as being crafted from solid oak grown and harvested in the United States, hand-planed by artisans and finished to emphasize the wood’s natural grain and rustic character. Even the distinctive roller hardware was designed to recall historic barn-door mechanisms, with castings referencing Ashland County, Ohio.

This is the approximately 113-inch configuration, combining two tall open-shelving sections with a central media cabinet. The oversized doors slide across the full-width black metal rail, allowing the center media area to be concealed when closed and revealed when open. The center section includes a large television/media cavity, component shelving with integrated cord management, and four generous soft-close drawers.

The oak has an intentionally textured, time-worn appearance with visible grain, saw marks, knots, tonal variation, and natural character throughout. The contrast between the warm oak and heavy black hardware is what gives the Baumann its distinctive architectural presence.

This example has been well cared for and is in excellent overall pre-owned condition. The drawers operate properly, the sliding-door hardware is functional, and the shelving, rail, doors, handles, and associated hardware are present. Minor age-appropriate patina is visible on portions of the metal hardware. Natural knots, small voids, grain variation, and rustic markings are inherent to the original finish rather than damage.
