Large hand-blown studio art glass vessel featuring bold fields of turquoise blue, red and white with expressive black trailing and yellow circular accents. The dramatically flared body terminates in an undulating free-form rim, giving the piece a different composition from every viewing angle.
The combination of saturated color, gestural linework and organic form gives the vessel a distinctly postmodern, abstract quality. A substantial piece at approximately 13 inches across, well suited as a standalone sculptural centerpiece.
A partial original paper label remains on the underside, though the maker cannot currently be identified. Likely late 20th century.
Very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Minor surface wear consistent with age.
