Subject and Style: Elegant floral composition on a dark blue background, featuring a rich central rosette medallion, floral motifs, and stylized palmettes in shades of salmon, pink, and blue, enclosed by a finely coordinated border.
Material and Finish: Fine wool, entirely hand-knotted and hand-woven at a high density, with a compact pile, a naturally lustrous fiber, and excellent yield of the period dyes.
