The renowed company of j&j kohn was beside thonet the world market leader when it came to bentwood furniture. Arftully made in the beginning of the 20th century around 1910 , this uncomon pair of beechwood side/ dining chairs shows an exceptional modern design that would actually indicate more a 1980s origin - this in turn proofs how marcel kammerer´s designs were ahead of its time. These absolutely amazing bentwood art nouveau chairs come the traditional so-called "vienesse mesh" seating surface and are in great restored condition. Marked with the brand stamp "j&j kohn teschen austria" as well as the wellknown paper mark, this unique shaped art nouveau side/ dining chairs by can be combined with many different interior designs due its timeless design. A great pair of fine antique, hard to get marcel kammerer side chairs by j&j kohn. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
