the frame is richly decorated with gilt fillets, garlands, florets, and foliate motifs.

the slightly curved upper section is surmounted by an elegant carved floral medallion, framed by ribbon motifs.

the lower section features two wide scrolls ending in carved and gilded feet, giving the mirror a particularly decorative base.
