Rare original ufo pendant lamp designed by josef hůrka for napako in czechoslovakia, dating from the 1930s. The lamp features a broad circular brass body surrounding a textured frosted glass diffuser, creating the distinctive ufo silhouette characteristic of early czechoslovak modernist lighting. Its restrained geometric form reflects the influence of bauhaus and functionalism, while the warm brass surface and elegant proportions retain an art deco sensibility. The brass has developed an authentic aged patina with visible surface marks and signs of use consistent with its age. The lamp has been fitted with new electrical wiring.
