The … Read more Exceptional pair of czechoslovak crystal glass cube pendant lights manufactured by lustry n. P., kamenický šenov in the 1970s. The sculptural shades are constructed from individual heavy pressed crystal glass blocks arranged into striking geometric cubes. Each glass element features an elaborate radial starburst motif, producing a remarkable interplay of reflections, refractions and shadows when illuminated. The elaborate czech glass is contrasted by a restrained chrome-plated metal frame and long suspension rod, creating a distinctive combination of traditional czechoslovak glassmaking and progressive 1970s geometric design. With their architectural cubic form, these pendants fit particularly well within mid-century modern, space age, modernist and brutalist-inspired interiors. An original manufacturer’s label remains attached to the internal structure, identifying lustry n. P. And type 670 294-1. The lights have been carefully cleaned and their metal components repolished while preserving their authentic vintage character. Minor signs of use and age remain. Both fixtures have new electrical wiring and accommodate 1 × e26/e27 bulb each. They are compatible with both european and us bulbs. The suspension rods can be professionally shortened free of charge upon request. Sold as a pair.
