The lamp features an exceptionally clean, aerodynamic saucer-shaped form in polished chrome-plated metal, complemented by a large frosted glass diffuser. Its sculptural silhouette is characteristic of the progressive Czechoslovak lighting design of the interwar period and reflects the strong influence of European Functionalism and Bauhaus design. The fixture is suspended from a rigid chrome-plated rod terminating in a spherical chrome ceiling canopy. Inside are four bulb sockets, while the electrical wiring has been replaced with new wiring. The lamp remains in good original vintage condition and shows signs of age and use, including minor surface marks and patina to the chrome, particularly on the interior and around the edges. These imperfections are consistent with its age and have been retained as part of its authentic vintage character. For transportation, the long suspension rod will be removed and carefully packed separately before shipping.
