The danish home office teak shelving unit with a desk shelf was designed by poul cadovius and manufactured by cado in the 1960s. It is a great alternative to regular desks with its compact size and wall-mounted design; it takes up minimal space while offering practical storage solutions.
overall size is h: 160 / w: 84 / d: 45 cm.
the desk shelf makes the set ideal as a cozy workplace for a home office. The wall unit is designed as a modular shelving system, allowing free arrangement. The assembly system is simple and intuitive, with components mounted on solid wood rails using brass hangers and metal pins. all parts are 80 cm wide and can be arranged at one’s will.
the set consists of:
- a desk shelf 45 cm depth,
- three shelves 20 cm deep,
- two wooden rails 160 cm long,
- brass hardware.
the wood has been cleaned and protected with layers of danish oil to enhance the grain. Overall, the wall unit is in great, renovated condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
