A refined and highly decorative Italian wall mirror dating from the late 1940s, attributed to Brusotti.
The architectural composition features a large, slightly raised central panel of rose-tinted mirror, surrounded by a broad border of clear mirrored panels. The central plate is embellished with an elegant engraved and sandblasted decoration depicting a dreamlike exotic landscape with palm trees, stylized vegetation, fanciful architecture and floating clouds.
The mirror is fitted with integrated backlighting, which creates a warm atmospheric glow and further enhances its sculptural depth and decorative presence.
A slender ebonized wood frame emphasize the geometric construction, creating a striking contrast between the rose-colored central mirror and the clear mirrored surround.
