DESCRIPTION

Architectural in scale yet beautifully organic in character, the RH Drifted Reclaimed Oak Panel Bed celebrates the history and natural imperfections of authentic reclaimed European oak.

Designed by Nils Verhoeven, the collection is handcrafted from oak timbers reclaimed from decades-old buildings throughout Europe. Rough-hewn planks and beams are individually selected, planed, sanded, and deeply wire brushed, revealing the grain, texture, and markings accumulated throughout the wood's previous life.

The bed's restrained, linear silhouette allows this extraordinary material to take center stage. Natural knots, nicks, nail holes, patches, cracks, tonal variations, and irregularities remain intentionally visible, creating a piece with considerably more depth and character than newly milled wood. No two beds are exactly alike.

This example is the substantial King size in Drifted Reclaimed Brown Oak, a rich, dimensional finish that beautifully emphasizes the texture and grain of the reclaimed timber.

Thoughtful construction allows the bed to accommodate either a mattress alone or a traditional mattress-and-box-spring configuration through two adjustable slat heights. The inner supports are also removable to accommodate a compatible adjustable base. The back of the bed is fully finished, providing additional flexibility for placement within a room.

This bed is open box and presents in beautiful condition with no condition issues to note.
