A striking pair of handcrafted art-glass plates by Pennsylvania artist Linda Sarine of Sarine Designs. Each round piece features a richly layered abstract composition in jewel-toned shades of emerald green, cobalt and turquoise blue, coppery orange and gold, with a shimmering, almost iridescent finish.
The glass has wonderful visual depth and a distinctive cellular/bubbled texture that gives each piece the character of a miniature abstract painting. Because the designs vary, the two pieces complement one another without being identical.
Originally labeled “Sarine Designs” and retaining the maker’s identifying information. Sarine Designs is associated with artist Linda Sarine of Red Lion, Pennsylvania; contemporary online records identify her as the artist and owner of the studio.
Wonderful as candle plates, oversized coasters, small decorative trays, tabletop art, or coastal accent pieces.
