Maka Cielecka graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. Worked in Canada and in the Netherlands as a graphic artist. In the mid-90s she began her extensive travels, including the ones to Tbilisi, Georgia where she became interested in weaving. Since 2005 it has become her main medium. She works in a very traditional way on a frame using cotton warp and woolen weft, she dyes the wool herself. Each work is based on her own unique design. This piece has an attribution mark,
