Hand signed lower right on paper arches anti-reflective glass black metal frame 62 x 52 cm about nicole b. : belgian artist born in 1944 ''in fact, abstraction in painting cannot be learned, it is a journey. It is above all a state of mind in which the artist finds a subjective emotion specific to his environment and to his need to externalize what he feels. Playing with form as so many dynamic forces is not necessarily in opposition to color, since color is form. A solid color can invade and entire leaf, leaving a corner of light, the color then takes on its full meaning since it itself represents a dynamic force. Black graphic elements vibrate the structure of the form and give way to the light of pure color. Figuration and abstraction, the composition is the same: a focal point, lines, curves, circles, solid and empty. Creating space is as important as light and color. My first drawing, these are two vertical and two horizontal which border my sheet. The first act of the painter in front of his support is to assess with a quick look the space in which he must intervene and set his main landmarks. At each event, at each exhibition, i commit myself to a mission: to make possible my deep vision of the moment, of my feelings when faced with a subject. What does it matter if i have not seen this subject as it is! i imagine it! and if by chance the work sticks to "reality" it is a discovery. Having no prior knowledge of the watercolor technique, i include gouache, pastel, colored pencil and collage. Solids, recesses, highlights, glazes are part of the work, as well as scraping, applications of material with a painting knife, etc. I am always looking for a thousand experiences. - Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

Cancellations
