The impressive urn-formed crystal bodies displays extensive geometric and diamond crosshatch cutting creating beautiful brilliance and reflection when illuminated. Each lamp is surrounded by heavy patinated bronze mounts with elaborate scrolling ornament, and exceptionally unusual sculptural animal-head handles.

To figural handles feature prominent curved horns, pointed ears, elongated animal-like faces, and flowing ornamental elements, creating a dramatic ram/goat, or satyr-inspired motif rarely encountered in decorative lighting. The unusual figural mounts are particularly striking and give this pair an unstable presence.

The lamps are exceptionally heavy and large measuring 22 inches high and 10 inches wide. The bronze retains a rich naturally aged patina that has not been polished or stripped preserving the character in depth of the original finish.
