One tree. One top. One of one.
A true single-slab live edge table — one continuous cross-section of a single Saman tree, commonly called monkeypod, natural edge to natural edge. Not narrow boards glued into a panel and sold as live edge.
Nine feet long, two and a half inches thick, and thirty-eight inches across at its widest. A slab is wider where the tree was wider — the width breathes down the length rather than running dead straight, and that is the entire reason to own one.
Golden through chocolate, with dark mineral streaking where the heartwood ran. Knots, voids and the bark line are the tree's record, not flaws.
Seats ten. The size that solves a large dining room and doubles as a conference table for a small firm.
Black steel base included; the base design paired with this slab is confirmed with you before purchase. Professionally lacquered top; sheen fixed per piece and confirmed before you commit.
Imported directly from Ecuador by the seller and held outside Chicago. Legally imported Saman from Ecuador. For interior use. Inspection by appointment, seven days a week.
