A striking vintage Henredon Chinoiserie campaign-style bachelor's chest, commode, or small server, circa 1970s.

The substantial rectangular case is finished in richly figured mahogany-toned wood veneers and features two spacious upper drawers positioned above a two-door cabinet.

The cabinet is distinguished by extensive Asian-inspired brass hardware, including elaborately etched corner mounts, decorative T-form brass plates, clover-form drawer pull backplates, curved bail handles, and a large pierced circular brass medallion centered across the lower cabinet doors.

The decorative fittings give the piece the appearance of traditional Japanese Tansu and campaign furniture.

The paneled cabinet doors display attractive figured wood grain and open to concealed storage, making the piece suitable for use as a bachelor's chest, bedroom cabinet, bar cabinet, entry chest, small sideboard, or living-room storage piece.

The drawers are constructed with machine-cut dovetail joinery and light hardwood secondary woods.

The interior side of one drawer retains the branded "Henredon Fine Furniture" mark.
