These chairs offer an especially elegant interpretation of the classic American Windsor form, featuring tall rounded hoop backs, slender spindle supports, and distinctive pierced central splats with a graceful, almost sculptural profile. Turned legs and stretchers complete the traditional silhouette, while the warm medium-brown wood finish gives the set a wonderfully inviting vintage character.

The shaped solid seats have a gently contoured surface for comfort, and the tall open backs give the chairs substantial visual presence without appearing heavy. The pierced splat design is particularly striking and makes this set considerably more decorative than a standard spindle-back Windsor chair.

Beautiful around a farmhouse, traditional, Colonial Revival, cottage, or eclectic dining table, these would also work wonderfully as occasional chairs throughout a home. Offered as a matching set of four.

Condition:
Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear from normal use. The chairs present beautifully overall and retain a warm, attractive vintage finish. There are scattered surface scratches, scuffs, small nicks, finish wear, and areas of discoloration throughout, most noticeably on the seats and curved back rails. One back rail has a more noticeable area of finish loss, as photographed. The seats exhibit light-to-moderate surface scratching and wear, and minor separation/gapping is visible along portions of the decorative seat joint/detail. Undersides show expected vintage wear and hardware/fastener points. No major breaks or significant structural damage are visible. Please review all photographs closely as they are considered part of the condition description.
