Elevate your space with this stunning, highly textured original Southwestern still life by internationally acclaimed artist Myung "Mario" Jung (b. 1949). Known for his masterful multi-media approach, Jung beautifully blends traditional oil paint with physical sand directly on the canvas, creating a captivating three-dimensional, rustic tactile experience. This piece beautifully depicts traditional Pueblo-style indigenous pottery vessels alongside native feathers, capturing the warm, organic spirit of the American Southwest. The rich Earth tones—ranging from warm terracotta and sandy beige to muted olive greens—make it a versatile, grounding addition to modern rustic, bohemian, or mid-century interior aesthetics.
The painting is signed by the artist in the upper-left corner and comes beautifully housed in its original, high-quality multi-tiered stepped wood frame complete with a classic fabric linen liner, perfectly complementing the gallery-ready presentation.About the Artist:Born in Seoul, South Korea, Myung "Mario" Jung won the prestigious Grand Prize for Western-style painting in 1986. Following a life-altering accident from which he miraculously recovered, he dedicated his life to a unique, heavily textured signature style. His mid-career Southwestern sand paintings remain highly collectible, prized for their rich dimension and exceptional craftsmanship.
