The rectangular case is fitted with a bank of doors opening to a fitted interior with two drawers, a circular fitted shelf (perfect for barware) and a removable circular tray with a brass gallery rail. The case is raised on tapered, saber-form legs terminating in gilt bronze sabots. The doors are inlaid with a fine brass line forming an elongated oval motif - a restrained, elegant flourish typical of the period. Interior surfaces are finished in a lighter birch or sycamore veneer, providing tonal contrast to the dark Macassar exterior. See less
