The sculpture pairs a slender, elongated silhouette with richly textured modeling and a deep brown patina, warmed by bronze highlights across the raised surfaces.

Its attenuated proportions and expressive surface recall Alberto Giacometti, while the armless torso evokes the classical beauty of the Venus de Milo and surviving fragments of ancient sculpture. These visual affinities lend the piece a compelling balance of antiquity and modernism, expressed through Corbin’s distinctive interpretation of the female form.
