The original work is attributed to an anonymous Chinese artist of the Ming dynasty and depicts an intricately woven basket overflowing with blossoms and foliage against a warm neutral ground. The print is presented in an elaborate period custom frame with scrolling acanthus and foliate relief, an ivory-toned ground, gilt highlights and a patterned textile-style inner border. The reverse retains its original New York Graphic Society identification label and custom-framing information from Adams & Walda of Fort Wayne, Indiana. See less
