Birch coffee table with lower shelf. Scandinavian production, 1950s.
Made in Scandinavia in the 1950s, this coffee table features a simple structure composed of a rectangular top with rounded corners, supported by four cylindrical legs and completed by a practical suspended lower shelf. Its compact proportions and clean lines make it a discreet and versatile accessory, while the thinness of the top and shelf contribute to the overall lightness. Originally conceived as a radio table, it fulfilled the need to house home radios while also offering an additional surface for books, magazines, or other everyday items. Good condition. May show signs of wear. Please refer to the photographs carefully.
